09112605 ~ imagine [26 Nov 2009|10:05pm] [ mood | moved ] [ music | just close your eyes and listen ] last night on glee, the kids from mckinley high had the privilege of "listening" to an interpretation of john lennon's imagine, as performed by a bunch of deaf kids from a rival school. it was so moving ~ the way the scene played out as everyone joined in ~ my eyes welled up. (yes, i'm a big ole pussy ~ so sue me.) anyhooch. when i went to download the song from itunes, i was disappointed to find that the cover of imagine did not include the deaf performers ~ it was strictly the kids from mckinley. that kind of irked me. i've uploaded what i believe to be the better of the two versions ~ it's on megaupload, and i'm afraid it's an .flv file because i converted it from a youtube clip i thought might get taken down. still, if you haven't heard it, it's really beautiful: imagine. 1 comment|post comment
